BioQuip congratulates the winners of the 2018 Youth Incentive awards.
Coleopterists Society Youth Incentive Award Recipients
The Senior award has been given to Cade Campbell from Bristol, Tennessee. In addition to receiving $400 and a one-year Society membership, Cade has received a $400 merchandise certificate from BioQuip Products. His project proposal: To inventory Scarabaeinae (and other coprophilous beetles at the endemic Osborne Bog, southern Appalachian Mountains, that have key roles as decomposers.

The Junior award has been given to Max Pankowski from Rockville, Maryland. In addition to receiving $200 and a one-year Society membership, Max has received a $200 merchandise certificate from BioQuip Products. His project proposal: To discover new species of prehistoric beetles, especially in amber, and to donate them to museums where there are scientists who are experts on the appropriate taxon so that they can study and describe new fossil taxa.
